with the City of Covina to confine West Covina prisoners in the
Covina jail, Was offered by Councilman Coffman, seconded by

in the "Easterly Addition No. 2" forl.the purpose of annexing to

.the City of West Covina, was offered by Councilman Mowder,
seconded by Councilman Coffman and was unanimously adopted.
A motion was offered by Councilman Hedges, seconded by Councilman*
Coffman, duly put and carried, to appoint Joe Fritsch as the
Street. Superintendant.of the City of West Covina at a salary of
6200.60 per month, and that his salary be $10.00 per month for
acting Police Chief of the City of West Covina. The resolution
of the -City Council passed at .the May 14th meeting appointing
Mr. Fritsch Police Chief of the City of West Covina at a salary

of $210.00 per.month was rescinded.
