Ordinance No. 65, entitled an ordinance prohibiting picketing in
the City of West Covina, came up for its third and final reading,
and its adoption was moved by Councilman -Coffman, seconded by
Couneilman.Reeg, and was passed by the following votes;
Ayes: P.R. Jackson, F.L. Mowder, C.H. Coffman and L. Reeg.
Noes None,
Absent: J.K. Hedges
On. motion by-Counoilman Mowder, seconded by Councilman Coffman,
'duly put and.carried, the Clerk was -authorized to pay Chas Delp
and,Oscar Jesse.$50.00 per day beginning March 1, 1937.
After some discussion a motion was offered by Councilman Mowder,
seconded by Councilman Coffman, duly put and.carried, that the
City employ a night.police officer to work.from 6 o°colck P.M.
to 12.'o'oolck midnight.
