The following bills were presented -by the clerk and.on motion by
Councilman -Coffman, seconded by Councilman Hedges, were allowed

Mr. Grayson and Mr. Browning of the Los Angeles County Health
Department were present at this meeting and diseussed several
different ordinances with the idea of the City of West Covina
later. adopting them.
Mr. Thompson and -Mr. Cochran of the Baldwin Park -County Water
District presented an application for a permit requesting
permission to lky and maintain a 51" water mains along the
following streets in the City of West Covina: Beginning at the
Nesterly City -Limits on Merced Avenue; thence Easterly along
Northly side of Merced Avenue to Willow Avenue; thence with a
4" main Northerly along the Westerly side of Willow approximately
775 feet. Said pipe line thence to continue from a point 480
feet North of Merced Avenue on Willow Avenue Westerly on Moss —
berg Avenue to the State Highway. Said pipe lines to be laid
not less that 30" below the Street grades. -On motion of
Councilman Reeg, seconded by Councilman Hedges the foregoing
permit was granted
