The City Council of the City of West Covina met December 9, 1936, at
the West Covina. Club House. Those present 1"ere: P.R. Jackson,
L. Reeg, and C.H. Coffman. Absent. F.L.
Mowder and J.K. Hedges.
The minutes of the meeting of November 11,
1936 were read and
approved.
The following bills were presented by the Clerk
and on motion by
Councilman Reeg, seconded by Councilman
Coffman, duly put and
carried were allowed and ordered paid.

The Clerk was instructed to write Gordon Douglas a'letter asking
him to remove the old plaster which he
has piled along the wash
at the corner of Cameron and Hollenbeck.
Resolution No� Entitled a resolution protesting
the establishment
of a prison farm by the County Board of
Supervisors on the ranch
of Mrs Marie Amar, was offered by Councilman
Coffman, seconded by
Councilman Reeg and unanimously carried.

The council voted to pay $20.00 each to Lester
Burdick and Ed Wiggins
of the El Monte Police Dept. for their
courtesy in hellping West
Covina take care of its prisoners.
There being no futther business to come before the Council the
meeting was duly adjourned.

of the book.of record of said council.
