The Council of the City of Ifiest Covina iiiet April, 21, 1;'3 �, at
the West Covina, Clu'o -House. This was a special meeting called
to canvass the returns of the Municipal election of April 14,
1936, and to install the elected officers. Those -oresent 7,,,ere:
P.R. Jackson, F.L. Llo?-rder, L. Rec-, J.K. Hod --es and C.H. Cof fraan.
Absent: None.
The Council finds upon canvassing the returns of said Municipal
election as follows;
That at said election the total number of votes cast eras 50
votes;
• ' That the following candidates received the following votes;
•I Fred L. Mowder, Council 4 Year -term --------- 41
C.H. Coffman, it " If 11 - - - - - - - - - 41
Frances Maxson, Treasurer 4 Year Terra--------49
C.C. Toland City Clerk" If "--------50
Mayor Jackson then declared that; F.L. Mowder and C.H. Coffman be
declared elected Councilmen for the term of four years; The.t
Frances Maxson was elected to the office of Treasurer for the
terra of four years and that C.C. Toland was elected to the office
of City Clerk for -the term of four years.
The foregoing minutes of the mf eeting of the Council of the City o
West Covina, of April 21, 1936, are duly recorded on page 398
of the book of record of said Council.
