West Covina, California, March 11, 1936.
The City Council of the City of,West Covina met March 11, 1936, at the
West Covina Club House. Those present.Were: F.L. Mowder, L. Reeg,
P.R. Jackson and C.H. Coffman. Absent: J.K. Hedges.
The minutes of the meetings of February 12, 1936, and February 26,
1936, were read and approved.
The following bills were presented by the Clerk and on motion by
Councilman Mowder, seconded by Councilman Reeg were allowed and
ordered paid.

Mr. L.W. O'Brien and J.P. Cosand of the Santa Fe. Rail Road were
present and talked on the right of the Santa Fe to establish a
.bus service in the State of California.
Resolution No.-L, a resolution approving the right of the Santa Fe
Rail Road Co. to establish a bus service in the State of Calif.
The Clerk was instructed to write Mr. Cortelyou and ask that the State
add another traffic lane to the State Highway through the City of
West Covina.
The Clerk was instructed to order 6 signs marked "Speed Limit 30
miles per.houri- at intersection" and have two each installed at
the following intersections; Citrus andthe State Highway, Lark
Ellen and the State highway and Orange and the State Highway.
There being no further business to come before the .0ouncil':,.the meeting
adjourned.
The foregoing minuted of the meeting of the Council of the City of
West Covina of March ll,.1936, are duly recorded on page 391 of
the book of record of said Council.
