The City Council of the City of West Covina met September 11, 19359
at the hest Covina Club House: Those present Vrere': J.K. Hedges,
P.R. Jackson, L. Reeg and C.H. Coffman. Absent: F.L. Mowder.
i Thr minutev of the -meetings of August 14, and August2l, 1935 were
read and approved.
The following bills were presented by the clerk and on motion of
J.K. Hedges, seconded by C.H. Coffman and carried were allowed
and ordered paid.

Mr. Douglas reported that Mr. Jones has done preliminary office work
on the improvements to be made at Hearst's corner at the corner
of Merced and Orange Avenues. Mr Jones' Draftsman suggested there
was no -necessity of going out side the right of way for the con-
struction of this Gutter. He also suggested that Mr. Jones send
his field party out and secure all the data for this improvement
and work up the plans as though it were a County project. It was
.,moved by Mr. Coffman and seconded by Mr. Hedges and carried that
this report be accepted and Mr. Douglas was instructed to tell
Mr. Jones to procedd with this work.
TherC-lbrk<�wa:s»'1n-sttucted to write Mr. S.E. Raysor and ask him to see
that the walnut tree in the corner of his property, located at
the corner of Merced and Glendora Avenues, was pruned so as to
clear the view at this corner.
There being no further business to come before the Council the meet-
ing adjourned.
