Jest Covina, California, August 14, 1935.
The City Council of the City of West Covina met August 14, 1935,
at the blest Covina Club House; Those present were; L. Reeg,
Percy R. Jackson, J.K. Hedges and F.L. Mowder. Absent: C.H.
Coffman.
The minutes of the meeting of July,10, 1935, were read and appro-
ved.
The following bills were presented by the Clerk and on motion of
L. Reeg, seconded by J.K. Hedges were allowed and ordered paid.

Ordinance No. 58 entitled an ordinance fixing the tax rate for
municipal purposes for the fiscal year 1935-1935 at $.30 per

hundred dollars valuation,came up for its second reading.
It was moved by Kr. Mowder, seconded by NIr. Reeg and carried that
'the Auditor's report be accepted'and placed on file.
There being no further business to come before the Board the meet-
ing adjourned.

page 369 of the book of record of said Council.
