West Covina California, March 28, 1935.
The City Council of the City of Nest Covina, held a special
meeting on March 28, 1935,at the Nest Covina Club House.
Those present Were: F.L. Mowder, C.H. Coffman and P.R. Jackson.
Absent: Reeg and Hedges.
The purpose of the meeting was to consider an application for a
permit to erect a bill board or signthe intersection of
Citrus Avenue and the State Highway in the City of West Covina,
presented by Mr. W.L. Carter of Covina. After considerable
discussion it was moved by Mr. Mowder, seconded by Mr. Coffman
and carried by the following vote, that the permit to erect
said sign be refused.
Ayes: F.L. Mowder, C.H. Coffman and P.R. Jackson
Noes: none
Absent: L. Reeg and J.K. Hedges
There being no further business to come before the Council the
meeting adjourned.
The foregoing minutes of the meeting of the Council of the City of
Chest Covina, of March 28; 1935, are duly recorded on page 363
of the book of record of said Council.
