West Covina, California, February 13, 1935.
The City Council of the City of West Covina met February 13, 1935,
at the West Covina Club House. Those present were: L. Reeg,
F.L. Mowder, Percy Jackson, J.K. Hedges and C.H. Coffman.
Absent: None.
The minutes of the meeting of January 9, 1935, were read and
approved.
The following bills were presented by the Clerk and on motion of
Mr. Coffman, seconded by Mr. Mowder were allowed and ordered
paid.

Mr. Mowder states that he has been looking around for a filing
cabinet and has found one that he thinks will fill our needs
sufficiently, and on motion of 11r. Coffman, seconded by I+:ir.
Reeg and unanimously carried Mr. Mowder was instructed to
purchase said cabinet.
The,Clerk read a letter from Geo W, Jones County Road Commissioner
stating that the County will not be able to furnish the City of
West Covina with materials and supplies in the future, and the
Clerk was instructed to write hIr. Jones in regard to the cash
• balance we have with the County.
• After discussing the possibility of getting some P.W.A. money for
certain work in the City of West Covina, Mr. Mowder was inst-
ructed to investigate the possibility of getting said money.
i On motion of Mr. Coffman, seconded by Mr. Reeg and carried the Clerk
was instructed to issm.e a liscense to Walter Dethlefs for the
■ purpose of doing auto teapiring at his shop located in his back
yard, at an annual fee of 512.00
There being no further business to come
meeting adjourned.
