Nest Covina, California, December 12, 19340,
The City Council of The City of West Covina met December 12, 1934,
at the West Covina Club House. Those present were: L: Reeg,
F.L. I'lowder and Percy.Re Jackson. Absent: C*.H. Coffman and
L.K. Hedges.
_ The Minutes of the meeting of November 14, 1934, were read and
appro ved.
The following bills were presented by the Clerk and on motion of
Mr. Mowder, seconded by Mr. Reeg were allowed and ordered paid.

Mr. Jackson presented a letter from LvIr. S.L.. Raysor asking that
the gutter along the north side of Merced Avenue be cleand,
and the clerk was instructed to answer this letter.
Ivlr. Douglas came before the Board and stated that the cost of com-
pleting the house numbering in West Covina could be done for
$30.00 and on motion Of IVIr: Reeg, seconded by Mr. Mowder $nd
-carried Mr. A.W.. Peers is to complete this worke When the
work is completed the Clerk is to.send-a letter to each home
and ask them to put their number on their mail boxes where
possible.
The shop sign at Citrus .and State Highway was discussed but no
action was taken.
On motion of Mr. Reeg and seconded by Mr. Idlowder and Carried it
was decided to put a slow or Dip sign -on Walnut Avenue..
There being no further business to come before the Board the
meeting adjourned.

Nest Covina, -of December 12, 1934, are duly recorded on page
358 of the book of record of said Council.
