At an adjourned meeting of the City Council of the City of West
Covina held on Monday evening, August 13th at 7:00 o'clock P.D.
the following resolution was offered by Councilman F.P. Baldosser
and seconded by Councilman J.K. Hedges:
RESOLVED: That the City Council of the City of
Wiest Covina ratify and approve the agreement with
the State of California for the allocation of funds
of one-fourth of a cent of
Gasoline tax fund for $953.56.
State Highway funds for $1995.51
State cooperative fund for $671.74
County Contribution of $2500.00-
for the improvement of Irwindale Avenue and Sunset
Avenue at their crossings with the State Highway in
the City of West Covina. That the Mayor of -West
Covina and the City Clerk of the City of West Covina
be and they are hereby authorized to sign said agree-
ment for the City of West Covina with the State of
California.

I, C.C.TOLAND, City Clerk of the City of
Test Covina, hereby certify that the foregoing resolution
was adopted by the CITY COUNCIL of the City of West
Covina, signed by the Mayor of said City and attested by
the City Clerk, all at an adjourned meeting of said
Council held on the 13th day of August, 1934, and that
the same was passed by the following vote:
Ayes: J.K. Hedges, Percy R. Jackson, F.P. Baldosser
and L. Reeg.
Noes: None
Absent: C.H. Coffman

It was moved by Mr. Baldosser, seconded by Mr. Reeg and unanimously
carried appointing Mayor Jackson as our Director to the League
of Municipalities.
