The Council of teh City of Vilest Covina met April 16, 1934 at
the West Covina Club House. This was a special meeting
called to canvass the returns of the Municipal Election of
April 9, 1934, and to install the elected officers.
Those present were: Robert H. Neely, F.P. Baldosser,
and-C.H. Coffman. Absent: A. Yarnell and G.L. Griffiths.
The following bills were presented by the Clerk and on motion of
C.H. Coffman seconded by F.P. Baldosser, were orderd paid.

The Council finds upon canvassing the returns of said 141unicipal
election as follows:
That at said election the total number of votes cast was
173 votes
That the total number of votes cast for the proposition_:

was 109 votes.

That there were 15 persons voting, for City Councilmen who did
not vote on the annexation proposition.
Idayor Neely then declared that Percy R. Jackson, Leonard Reeg
and Jades K. Hedges be declared elected Councilmen for the
term of Four years.
Hayor Neely also declared that a majority of the qualified
electors in the City of West Covina voting at said election
had voted in favor of annexing to the City of West Covina,
the Territory designated as "Easterly Addition No.l", and
a resolution was offered by C.H. Coffman, seconded by F.P.
Baldosser, and Unanimously carried declaring the result of
the 1411unicipal Election held in the City of West Covina
on April 9, 1934, on the question of Annexation to the City
of West Covina of "Easterly Addition No.l'".

City of West Covina, of April 16, 1934, are duly recorded
