West Covina, California, July 12, 1933.
The City Council of The City of West Covina met July 12, 1933, at
the Nest Covina Club House. Those present were:- Neely, Drendel,
Coffman and Baldosser. Absent: Yarnell.
The minutes of the Council meeting of May 10, 1933,* were read and
approved.
There was no meeting held on June 14- 1933, there not being sufficient
members of the Council present to make a quorum.
The following bills were presented by the Clerk.

It was moved by Coffman and seconded by Baldosser that these bills
be paid. Carried.
City Ordinance No. 53 came up for its first reading and was .read by
the Clerks This, is an ordinance setting the tax rate for the
City for 1933 -1934 .

It was moved by Coffman and seconded by DreAdel that Ordinance
No. 53 be approved for its first reading. Carried.
It was moved by Coffman and seconded by Baldosser that the
meeting adjourn. Carried.

.-of West Covina, of July 12, 1933, are duly recorded on pages
275 and 276 of the book of record of said Council.
