The Council. met with. the property owners along Rowland
Avenue on march 29,1931-3, for the purpose of discussing the
proper method of handling the trees along said street East
of Lark Ellen,
.The following is the remarks of each property owner
present,
Mr. Beatty said that if the trees -were topped properly
that would be alright,or if the trees were taken out that
would be alright,
Nir.Fishback said that he was in favor of topping,
Mr. Jobe thinks that the trees should be taken out
altoghether,
Mr. Runyan thinks that something should be done,either
topped or'taken out,
Mrs Reed thought that the trees should be topper in
front of each property owner who desired to ha-Te it done,
Mrs Bennett thought that the trees should be left in
and not �Iisturbed in any way.
Mr. Perry and. Y-r. Quint -,r bashore thought that the trees
should be topped..
The following is a vote by acreage of the property owners
present,
creage for Topping... ,,............000044..6
Acreage for Complete removal ..................17
Acreage for taking care of bad Trees ...... .....20
Mr. Neely appointed a committee of three consisting of-
Ns.Jobe,lvir. Beatty and wir. Runyan to investigate the cost -
and means.of taking care of the trees in some way,and this
committee was to meet back with the Council at their next
regular meeting.
Moved by Coffman and seconded by B&ldosser that the
meeting Adjourn,
