Council of the City of West Covina met Jan. 11, 1935
at the West Covina C1_ub House. Those present were:
Robert H. Neely, F-P,Baldosser,C.h.Coffman and JOE
Drendell. Absent:'Arthur Yarnell,
The
minutes of the meeting of, Dec. 140193?,, were read and
approved,
The
following bills were Iresented by the Clerk and on
motion by Coffman and seconded.by BAldosser were allowed
and orderd paid..Carried.

owners on ',vest workman Street was taken up and was
turned over to the City Attorney to be -recor<led with
the County reeorder,so as to be. shown on the map and
will be deducted from the property by the County
assessor.
The
Clerk reported on a message froir. %r. \Tellefson' s
SecLatary,and was requested to wire our Assembleyman
to vote no on the proposition to divert gas&line tax
money to channels ,o:the.r, than the purposes for which it.
is now used.On motion by Coffman and Seconded by
Drendell the following telegram was sent.to Frank
Wright, " Resolution by City Council of widest Covina
.Jan..1.1, 19-32 protests appropriation measure of Gov.
Rolph to use gasdline tax funds for general Fund or
for balancing the budget.
It was moved by Drendell an' seconded by Coffman that
the.r-oad committee be instructed to go, ahead, with the
resurfacing of -creed St. Carried.
Un motion'by Coffman and seeon(le-,! by Drendell the meeting
adjourned..
