West Covina, Californian. May 12, 1932.
The City Council_ of the City of West Covina met May 12, 1932, at
the West Covina Club House. Those Present were: Robert H.
Neely, Joe Drendell, C.H.Coffman, Arthur Yarnell and Frank
Baldosser.
The Minutes of the meeting of April 18, were read and approved.
The following bills were presented by the Clerk,

On motion by Yarnell and seconded by Baldosser the bills were
orderd paid, Carried.
lir. Starbuck of west Rowland Avenue came before.the Council and
asked that.Rowland west of Vincent ave, be improved. Mr.
Baldosser moved that the attorney be instructed to look up
the right of way on this street before any improvements are
made,
S The Auditors .report was taken up, the report the report was read
by Mr. Smith.The books were audited from July 1, 1929,,to
April 25, 1932. It was moved by Yarnell and seconded by Coffman
that the report be accepted. Carried.

On motion. by Yarnell seconded. by Coffman and carried the following
resolution from the Automobile Club of Southern California
was ao opted..
WHEREAS, motor vehicles are now subject to general property
taxes for local purposes, and
,NHEREAS, in addition,motor vehicles are subject to registration
fees and gasoline taxes imposed by the Legislature for the
specific purpose of construction,maintenance and repair of
highways, and
