West: Covina, California, March 9, 1932.
The City Council of the City of vilest Covina met March 9, 1932, at
the blest Covina Club House. Those present were: Robert F..
Neely, Arthur Yarnell, Joseph Drendel, C. H. Coffman, R. P.
Bald osse.r. Absent: None.
The Minutes of the Council Meeting of L-Tebruary 10, 1932, were read
and .approved.
The following bills were presented by. the Clerk.
Charles Delp -Labor- $112.50
Charles Delp -Use of car 11 days - 16.50
Charles Delp -Paid .for second hand tire- - - 2.00
Charles Delp-7 gals. kerosene-$1.05
kerosene can .40 - - 1.45
Oscar Jesse" -Labor- - - - - - - - - - - - - 110.25
Dr. G. N. Miller, Veterina.ry-; - - - - - - 2.50
Patten Blinn Lumber Co.- - - - - - - - 4.20
American Bitumuls Co. -Asphalt- - - - - - - 30.00

It was moved by Yarnell and seconded by Ba.ldosser that these bills
be paid. Carried.
Clerk reported receiving check from' Southern Counties Gas Co. Franch-
ise Tax for 1931 for $312.84.
It was moved by Coffman and seconded. by Baldosser that,West Covina
join the L. A. County League of Municipalities for a
period of three .months and pay a quarterly fee of ;$15.00;
that if the board feels the membership.is of no further
value to the City that the City withdraw at that time;
mayor Neely to represent the -6oard. Carried unanimously.
Clerk presented four Grant Deeds and one Quit Claim Deed, deeding
to city of ?Nest Covina a' strip of land 20 feet .wide for
road purposes, which strip of land would be a continuation
of lorkman Street, West of Vincent Street, in 'Nest Covina.
