West Covina, California., December 16, 1931.
The City Council of the City of ;Test Covina met December 16, 1931
at the Test Covina Club House. Those present were:
Robert H. Neely, F. P. Baldosser, Joseph Drendel, C. H.
Coffman, and Arthur Yarnell. Absent: none.

The Minutes of the Council Meeting of November 4, 1931, were read
and approved.
It was moved by Baldosser and seconded by Coffman that the follow-
ing bills be paid. Carried.

The petition of Samuel Wison of Pasadena to remove palm trees on
the corner of Azusa and .Arroyo was referred to road
committee.
It was moved by Drendel and seconded by Coffman that road comm-
ittee be given power to act in the matter of removing
palm trees after investigation.. Carried.
The following resolution was offered by Drendel and seconded by
Coffman. Carried.
Duly moved and seconded that the Treasurer of the City of ;Vest
Covina be hereby authorized to rent a safe deposit box
at the First National Bank, Covina. Said box to be
rented -in name of the City of ?Vest Covina and said
Millie Lois Anderson and an .officer of the First National
Bank of Covina are authorized to have access to same
until further notice in writing to the said First
National Bank of Covina.
City clerk reported that he had on December filed claim of City
of West Covina in First National Bank of Baldwin Park
for the sum of $1166.16, the balance of .founds of Test
Covina on deposit there when the bank closed its doors.
It was moved by Baldosser and seconded-b.seconded-b.j Coffman that meeting be
adjourned. Carried.

on Pages 234 and 235 of the book of record of said
council.
