The hTinutes of the Councii P,Teeting of October 7, 1931, were read
and approved.
It was moved-b-y Coffman and seconded by Drendel that the following

Clerk read letter from County Supervisors sta,tinn thou had approp-
riated 4plOOD.00 for repairs on certain streets in !Test
Covina and paying salaries. This assistance given tube City
by reason of the Baldwin Park Bank closing, in rVh ich Bank
the City of ;Hest Covina, has a balanc a of �$)1183.9161.

It was moved by Dr~ndel and seconded by Coffman that the depositary
bank of the City of West Covina. be the First National '3ank.
of Covina. Carried unanimously..
Clerk read report of the County Auditor showin:- taxes collected in
1930-31 to be $9,671.32. That there are dolinoucnt and
uricollectcd taxe , for these years in tho sum of .1P42.27.
Clerk read the petition of George A. Reimers requesting permit to
remove rose .hedge from Lark Ellen Avenue south of TTerced
in %'lest' Covina.
It was moved by Dr: ndel and secondod byT Coffman that permit be granted
to George A Reimers to r3move this rose hedge.. Carri®d.

Discussion regarding opening i.erced Street throu.nh-3aldviin property
followed. the Road Committee was instructed by the "?ayor
to see property owners along i.iereed vahere street is to be
opened .to East boundary of the City of ",Vatit Covina, and
inform them that the Road Superintendent, Goo. W. Jonas,
requests the opening of Mlerced , and report at the next
meet ing.
It was moved by Coffmanand, aec:ondad by Baldosser that the meeting
adjourn. Carried.

Pages 232 and 233 of the boob of record of said Council.
