06-10-1931 - Regular Meeting - Minutes-223- 10 i West Covina, California, June 10, 1931, The City Council of t-he City of West Covina met June 10, 1931 at the West Covina Club House. Those present were: Robert H. Neely, C. H. Coffman, F. P. Baldosser, Joseph Drendel. Absent: Arthur Yarnell: The Minutes of the Council Meeting of May 13, 1931, were read and approved The following bill was approved bythe the Auditing -Committee: Gilmore 0il Company 624:66 It was moved by Coffman and seconded. by Drend.el that the bill to Gilmore Oil Company be paid. Motion carried unanimously. A resolution was offered that. the City pass an ordinance to be numbered Ordinance No. 50 and entitled "AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE MANTFER OF SPREADING AND COVERING FRESH GARBAGE OR HOG FERTILIZER IN THE CITY OF WEST COV INA" . It was, moved _ by Baldosser and seconded by Coffman that the ordin- ance be adopted and that it be placed on its first read- ing. lotion carried unanimously.. The ordinance was given its first reading by clerk. .The application of J. E.. Flick for job on road was read and placed on file. Discussion as to road work to be done followed. Councilmen all decided to go over-all the roads in the City at once .and determine what work should be done; whether to hire tractor or buy a team to be determined after roads are inspected. It was moved by Drendel and seconded by Coffman that the meeting adjourn. Motion carried: The foregoing minutes of the meeting of the Council of the City of West Covina, of dune 10, 1931, are duly recorded on Page 223 of the book of record of said Counci.
