West Covina, California, August 13, 1930.
The City Council; of the City of `Test Covina. met August 13th, 1930,
at the Idlest ' Covina Club House* 'Those present were: S. L.
Watts, C..H. Coffman, Arthur Yarnell, Joseph Drendel,
J. P. Baldosser. Absent: None.
The Minutes of the Council Meeting held July 16th, 1930, were read
and approved.
It was moved by Joseph Drendel and' seconded by C. H. Coffman that the
following bills be paid. Carried unanimously.

Oscar Jesse, labor 117.00

It was moved by C. H. Coffman and seconded by J. P. Baldosser that
a reflector of the ,15.00 type be placed at the North-east
corner of Lark Ellen Street and Arroyo Drive.
. Mayor S.. L. Watts reported attending the fact finding committee
dinner and.meeting at Long Beach. He reported that no
definite action was taken towards City and County con-
solidation.
Discussion in regard to reconsidering opening Vincent Avenue West
1378.19 feet. No definite action was taken.
Ordinance No..49 fixing the .tax rate for Municipal purposes for the
fiscal year of 1930-1931 came up for its first reading and
was. read by the deputy clerl .
It was moved by C. H.. Coffman and seconded by Joseph Drendel that the
meeting.adjourn. Carried.

page 206 of the book of record of said Council.
