West Covina, Calif., September 5, 1928.
The Council of the City.of «lest Covina met at the 'West Covina
Club House.on the 5th day.of September, 1928. Present Councilmen
Gloege, King, Watts and Yarnell. Absent: Coffman.
A resoluction of the City Council of the'City of West Covina .
authorizing the publication of notice to sell a franchise for a
period of fifty (50-) years covering an'electrical distributing sys-
tem, granting the right of installation of any and all appliances
incident to construction and maintenance of an electrical distri-
buting system, was given its second reading.
It was moved by King that the resolution as read be granted
the Southern California Edison Company; this motion was duly second-
ed by Gloege and the resolution was adopted by the following vote:
Ayes: Gloege, King, Watts and Yarnell.
No'es : None.
Absent: Coffman.
On motion duly seconded, the meeting adjourned.
The foregoing minutes of the meeting of the Council of the City
of West Covina of September 5th, 1928 are=duly recorded on page 170
of the book of records of said Council. -
