West Covina, Calif., July 11, 1928.
The Council of the City of West Covina met at the West Cov-
ina Club House on the 11th day of Julyy, 1928. Present Council-
men Coffman, .Gloege, King, ��atts and Yarnell
Minutes of the meeting of June 27th read and approved.
The folloWine bills, having been audited by the auditing.
committee, on motion by Coffman;iseconded by Yarnell and carried,
were allowed and the Clerk was nstructed to draw warrants for
the same. The vote on bills alloyed stood as follows: Ayes: Coff-
man, Gloege,.Watts and Yarnell. Noes: None. Not votinr�g: King.

On motion by Yarnell, seconded by Gloege. and unanimously
carried, the Clerk was instructed to issue permit to the Southern
Counties Gas Company -to lay new gas mains on Arroyo, Orange, Pac-
ific Lane and Azusa Canyon Road, more specifically set forth and
described in the permit; also permit to William Pane covering
repairs to his pipe line at the intersection of Arroyo Drive and
Glendora Boulevard.
Ordinance No.41 entitled an ordinance fixing the tax rate
- for'municipal purposes for the fiscal.year of 1928-1929" came up
for its first reading and was read by the Clerk.
On motion duly seconded, the meeting adjourned.

of the book of records of said Council.
