The Council of the City of West Covina.met at the 'Nest Covina
Club House on the'13th day of June, 1928. Present Councilmen
Gloege, King, Watts and Yarnell. Absent: None. (One unfilled va-
cancy due to the death of B. F. Masson on June 3rd)
Minutes of the meeting of May 16th read and approved.
- The following bills, having been audited by the auditing com-
mittee, on motion duly seconded and unanimously carried were
allowed and the Clerk instructed to drag warrants for tie same:

Ordinance No.38 entitled" -and ordinance amending Section No.1
of ordinance No.7 entitled v an'ordinance determining the salaries
of certain officers" came akuncilman
for its second reading and was read
by the Clerk. On motion by King seconded by Councilman
Yarnell and unanimously carried, said ordinance No.38 was placed
on its passage. Councilman Yarnell moved that said ordinance No.
38 be adopted, which motion was duly seconded by Councilman King
and said ordinance No.338 was adopted by the following vote:
Ages; Gloege, King, Watts and Yarnell.

Ordinance.No.39 entitled an ordinance repealing ordinance
No. 14 entitled " an ordinance regulating the use of certain high-
ways" came,up for its second reading and was read by the Clerk.
On motion by Councilman Gloege seconded by Councilman Yarnell and
unanimouslyy carried said ordinance No.39 was placed on its passage.
On motion b Yarnell seconded by King, said ordinance No.39 was
adopted by oho followingg vote:
Ayes: Gloege, King, Waits and Yarnell
Noes: None.
Absent: (one vacancy)
Ordinance No.40 entitled "an ordinance regulating the use of
certain highways" came up for its second reading and was read by the
Clerk. On motion by Yarnell seconded by Gloe e, and unanimous)
