The Council of the Cityy ofest Covina met at the Wiest Covina
Club.House on the 7th day of lsarch, 1928. Present Councilmen Gloege,
King, Naxson, Watts and Yarnell. Absent, None.
Minutes of the meeting of February 29th read and approved.
The following bills, having been audited by the auditing com-
mittee, on motion of Councilman Gloege, seconded by- Councilman Watts
and unanimously carried, were allowed and the Clerk was instructed
to draw warrants. for the same:

Resolution providing for.and ordering the holding of a general
municipal' election in the Cityof West Covina on the 9th day of April,
1928, 'for the purpose of elecing two members of -the City Council,
one City Clerk and one Cityy Treasurers was read Ithe Clerk where-
upon Councilman Watts moved its adoption; this mon was duly se-
conded by Councilman Yarnell and the resolution was adopted by the
following vote: Ayes: Gloege, King, Paxson, Watts and Yarnell.
Noes: None. Absent: None.
The resolution carried the appointment of the following to serve
as election officers:
Inspector, F..C. McCandless
Judge, Max Goheen
Clerks, Mrs. M. M. Reed and Mrs. Sadie King.
On motion duly made, seconded and carried, the meeting adjourned.
The foregoing minutes of the meeting of the Council of the City
of Kest Covina of Larch 7, 1928, are duly recorded on page 145 of the
book of records of said. ouncil.
