Nest Covina, Calif., Sept 21, 1927
The Council of the City of Vest Covina met at the iVest
Covina Club House on the 21st day of September, 1927. Present
Councilmen Gloege, '11axson and Watts; Absent Councilmen King and
Yarnell.
• 11inutes of the meeting of September 14th read and approved.
The following bills, having been audited by the auditing
committee, on motion of Councilman Watts, seconded by Councilman
Gloege and unanimously carried, were allowed and the Clerk was
instructed to dray warrants for the same:
James R. Nelan, repairs to grader 14.7o
A getter from Lance D. Smith dated September 21st, making
application for the office of City Attorney, was read and on
motion of Councilman'datts, seconded by Councilman Gloege and
unanimously carried, IIr. Smith was appointed City Attorney, effec-
tive as of this date.
On motion duly made, seconded and carried, -the meeting adjour-
ned.
The foregping minutes of the meeting-- of the Council of the
City of ��lest Covina of September 21, 1927 are duly recorded on
page 132 of the book .of � records of said Council.
