The Council of the City ofi West Covina met at the West Covina
Club House on the 24th day of August 1927. Present Councilmen
Gloege, Maxson, Watts and Yarnell. Absent: Councilman King.
Minutes of the meeting of August 17th read and approved.
Ordinance No.35 entitled 1, an ordinance fixing the tax rate for
municipal purposes for the fiscal year of 1927 - 1928" came up for
its second reading and was read by the Clerk. Councilman Yarnell
moved that said ordinance NO-35 be placed on its passage, which
motion was seconded by Councilman Gloege and carried by the follow-
ing., vote: Ayes: Gloe • , Maxs on, VVa.tts and Yarnell . Noes: None.
Absent: King. \gn mo ion of C ouncilman Gloege, seconded by Council-
man Yarnell, said ordinance NO-35 was adopted by the following vote:

On motion duly made, seconded and carried, the meeting adjourn.
