Minutes of the Board of Trustees
of the
City of West Covina
West Covina, Calif., June 1, 1927.
The Board of Trustees of the City of West Covina met at the
West Covina Club House on the 1st day of June, 1927. Present
Trustees Gloege, King, Paxson, Vvatts and Yarnell. Absent, None.
l�i,inutes of the meeting of May 11 th read and approved.
The following bills having been approved by the auditing
committee, on motion of trustee Yarnell, seconded by Trustee
Gloege and carried were allowed and the Clerk instructed to draw
• warrants for the same:

A communication from the County Auditor relating that assess-
ment No.108 for the year 1923, in sum of $40.80, against Frank
A Roberts, and included on our delinquent list to him was in error
and asking that resolution be passed by the Board of Trustees
authorizing him to remove this item from the'said delinquent list
by cancellation, was read by the Clerk, whereupon a resolution
was offered by Trustee Gloege authorizing the County Auditor to
cancel this item of $40.80 from our 1923 delinqguent list; this was
duly seconded by Trustee Yarnell and unanimously carried-,
President Maxson was called home account sickness in his
family and Trustee Yarnell took the chair, by motion duly made
seconded and carried.
A resolution, approving map of 'iract No.10028, a portion of
the Euuggene Riggins subdivision of the'Hathaway Tract, within the
City of West Covina, as prepared by F. L. Douglas, was introduced
by Trustee Gloege; this resolution was duly seconded by Trustee
King-. An amendment to this resolution rejecting the Goudy map
of,Tract No.9911, instructing the Clerk to return the map with
reasons for its rejection, was made and duly accepted by the
second. The resolution and the amendment thereto was carried by
the following,vote: Ayes, Gloege, King, Watts and Yarnell. Absent
Maxson.
Thereupon, on motion duly made, seconded and carried, the
meeting adjourned.
