West Covina, Calif., February 9, 1927.
The Board of Trustees of the City of best Covina met at the
ydest Covina Club House on the 9th day of February, 1927. Present
Trustees Gloege, Maxson and Yarnell; absent Trustees King and 'Watts
Minutes of the meeting of January 5th read and
approved.
The following bills, having been audited by the
auditing
committee, on motion of Trustee Yarnell, seconded by
Trustee
Gloege and carried, were allowed and'the Clerk instructed
to draw
warrants for the same:

Ordinance No.�1 entitled,,,, An ordinance providing for the
creation, in the City of West Covina, of zones consisting of
various districts and prescribing the classes of buildings, Struc-
tures and improvements in the said several zones, and the uses
thereof it came up for its second reading and was read by the Clerk,
whereupon Trustee Yarnell moved that said ordinance be placed on
its passage- this motion was duly seconded by Trustee Gloege and
carried by the following vote: Ayes, Gloege, Maxson and Yarnell.
Noes, ?one . Absent King and Watts.
Trustee Gloege moved that said ordinance be adopted which
motion was seconded by Trustee Yarnell and carried by the follow -
vote: Ayes : - Gloege, Maxson and Yarnell. Noes:None. Absent
King and �uatts .
• Considerable discussion followed on the subject of an oil
trailer which Superintendent Weaver contended was needed as a part
of his road equipment, and which could not be borrowed or rented
from the C�runty as heretofore; .he added that he - had an estimate
of suck a tank of propper capacity, mounted on a second. hand Ford,
the cost of which yrould be around 4 250.00, whereupon, it was moved
by Trustee Gloege, seconded by Trustee Yarnell arld unanimously
carried, that the Superintendent be and he hereby is authorized to
purchase such a trailer to cost around $250.00'.
Thereupon, on motion duly made, seconded and carried, the
meeting adjourned.

recorded on pages 113 and 114 ofepk book of records of said board.
