The Board.of.Trustees of the City of West Covina met at the Nest Covina Club House on the 14th day of December, 1926, instead of Decem- ber 15th, the regular meeting date, as per agreement of the entire Board. Present Trustees Gloege, King, Maxson, Watts and Yarnell. Absent, None. Yinutes of the meeting of October 27th read and approved. Watts, Surveying Bixby's Curb 15.00 Total, 4o58.78 The committee on streets reported that they had looked over the • the proposed opening of Rowland Avenue, westerly from the intersection of Vincent Avenue, in line with the..petition presented by Eckermann and others, and found that only a 50 foot street could be obtained, instead of 60 feet as desired and that they would not recommend that the request of Eckermann and others be granted. The Board took a sim- ilar view and the Clerk was instructed to so advise 11r. Eckermann. Discussion followed on the subject of H. S. Goode deeding to the City of 1,01est Covina a certain parcel of land at the intersection of Arroyo and California Streets to permit of the flood waters being carried down California Street to Walnut Wash. Trustee Watts moved that the City Engineer be instructed to make the necessary survey and have the necessary deeds prepared; this motion was seconded by Trustee Yarnell and was unanimously carried. Trustee Maxson tendered his resignation as a member of the 110 Street Committee which was accepted, Trustee 1,7atts in turn tendered his resignation as a member of the same committee and on motion of Trustee Gloege, seconded by Trustee King and carried, both resignations were accepted. Upon motion of Trustee King, seconded by Trustee Yarnell and carried, Trustees Gloege and Iffatts were named to serve on the Street committee. Thereupon, on motion duly made, seconded and carried, the meeting adjourned. The foregoing minutes of the meeting of the Board of Trustees of the City of West Covina of December 14, 1926 are duly recorded on pages lv9 and 110 of the book of recor s of said Board.
