MINUTES OF 'THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
- OF THE
CITY OF WEST COVINA
West Covina Calif., September 1 1926.
The Board of Trustees of the City of West Covina met at the
West Covina. Club House on the 1st day of September, 1926. Present
Trustees Gloege, King, Watts and Yarnell. Absent Trustee Maxson.
Minutes of the meeting of August 18th read and approved.
The followiriZ bills having been audited by the auditting
committee, on motion of Trustee Watts, seconded by Trustee King
and carried, were allowed and the Clerk was instructed -to draw
warrants for the same:

Ordinance NO-30 entitled An ordinance fixing the tax rate
for municippal purposes for a year 1926 - 1927++ came up for its
second reading and was read ly the Clerk, whereupon Trustee
Kin $ moved that said ordinance be placed on its passage, this
motion was duly seconded by Trustee Yarnell and carried by the
following vote: Ayes: Gloege, King, 'ffatts and Yarnell; Noes: None,
Absent: F�axson.
Trustee Watts moved that said ordinance No.30 be adopted,
which motion was duly seconded by Trustee King and carried by
the following vote: Ayes: Gloege, King, Watts and Yarnell; Noes:
None. Absent: Maxson.
Thereupon, on motion duly made, seconded and carried, the
meeting adjourned.
