MINUTES OF TNHE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
of the
CITY OF WEST COVINA
West Covina, Calif., July 8, 1926
A special meeting of the Boaad of Trustees of the Citq
• of West Covina was held at the West Covina Club House on the
8th day of July 1926. Present Trustees Gloege, King and
Maxson; absent trustees Watts and Yarnell.
The meeting was called for the express purpose of hearing
the Supreme Courts decision on the Mattoon Act and to determine
a plan of procedure to be followed in the widenin6 and opening
of the Arroyo Drive hi��wa. Attorney Wilson explained that
as the work was to be Handled by the Board of Supervisors, it
would be necessary to circulate a petition among the property
owners interested and who would come within the assessment dis-
trict, subsequently to be formed.
Attorney Wilson took the necessary data and agreed to have
the ppetition drawn up and mailed to the Clerk within the next
few dayys, it being agreed and understood that the petition
would be circulated by Mr. C. F. Hassheider, who was present
at the meeting.
Thereupon, on motion duly made, seconded and carried, the
meeting adjourned.
