MINUTES OF THE .80ARD OF TRUSTEES
of the
CITY OF WEST COVINA.
West Covina, Cat if., June 9, 1926.
The Board of Trustees of the City of West Covina met at the West
Covina Club House on the 9th day of June, 1926. Present Trustees
Gloege, King, Maxson, Watts and Yarnell. Absent, None.
Minutes of the meeting of May 26th read and approved.
The following bills, having been auditted by the auditing com-
mittee,'on motion of Trustee Watts, seconded by Trustee Yarnell and
carried, were allowed and the Clerk was instructed to draw warrants
• for the same:

first reading, and were read by the Clerks
Ordinance Bo.27 entitled "An ordinance providing for the
appointment of a Superintendent of Buildings"
Ordinance No.28 entitled "An ordinance regulating the construc-
tion, repair, demolition and removal of buildings and other struc-
tures in the City of West Covina, and providing for the issuing of
permits therefor"
Ordinance No.29 entitled "An ordinance regulating the moving
of any building or structure along public streets of the City of
West Covina".

Upon motion of Trustee Yarnell, seconded by Trustee Gloege and
carried, the Street Committee were authorized to arrange to have made
a map of the City of West Covina showing such information as said
committee may deem necessary and to have said map prepared by Mr,-
H. D. Watts.
Upon motion of Trustee Watts, seconded by Trustee King and carried,
the Street Superintendent was instructed to advise the Home Telep7.one
Company to desist in doing work along or across our streets without
first obtaining a permit to do such work.
Thereupon, on motion duly made, seconded and carried the meeting
adjourned to meet on call at 7 o'clock P.M.
