Minutes of the Board of Trustees
of the
City of..West Covina
Kest Covina, Calif., May 19, 1926.
The Board of Trustees of the City of West Covina met at
the Nest Covina Club House on the 19th day of May, 1926. Present
Trustees Maxson, Watts and Yarnell; Absent Trustees Gloege and
King.
Minutes of the meeting of Ivlay 12th read and approved.
Discussion followed on tha subject of Japanese on Sunset
moving in unsightly buildings and the Clerk was instructed to get
in touch with the City attorney and determine whether or not the
City could pass an ordinance prohibiting this and making it neces-
sary for any one desiring to build .to first obtain a building per-
mit.
Trustee 'vatts moved that the City
Motorcycle Officer for two days a week
that such officer and his compensation
Committee; this motion was seconded by
carried by the following vote:
Ayes: Maxson, Batts and Yarnell.
Noes: None..
