Minutes of the Board of Trustees
of the
City of West Covina
West Covina, Calif., May 12, 1926.
The Board of Trustees of the City of West Covina met at the
West Covina Club House on the 12th day of May, 1.926. Present
Trustees Gloege, King, Maxson and Yarnell; absent Trustee Watts.
Nominations for Mayor, or President of the Board of Trustees,
were declared in order whereu on the name of B. F. Maxson was laced
in nomination and he was ele Ned by the following vote: Ayes, loege,
King, Maxson and Yarnell. Noes, None.
Minutes of the regular meeting of April 14th and a special
meeting of April 19th were read and approved.
Messrs. Po kim and Philleo addressed the meeting on the subject
caring for the flood waters on Orange and Irwindale Avenues and on
motion of Trustee Yarnell, seconded by Trustee King and unanimously
carried,_ the Street Committee was named to confer with County Officials
to see just what can be done.
The following bills, having been audited
