MINUTES OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES"
OF THE
CITY OF WEST COVINA
West Covina, Calif., February 3, 1926.
The. Board of Trustees of the City .of lest Covina met at
the West Covina Club House on the 3rd day 0f'February, 1926."
Present Trustees Gloege, King, :Watts and Yarnell; absent, Trsis-
�t.ee Maxson.
i '',Trustee ` _acted as-_ Chairman and the 'minutes of the
meeting of January 1-3,,.1`926 were read and approved.
A map Qf a subdivision,' bein� that of Tract" No.8497, which
lies within.three miles,of the exterior boundaries of the City
of Vilest. Covina and. Ue
epared by .the County Surveyor, came up
for examination by Board, and, upon favorable report on
said map by the City Engineer of the City of West Covina", a
resolution eras introduced.by Trustee Watts a roving map of
said Tract No.8497 and moving its adoption; his resolution
was duly"seconded by Trustee--Gloege and was adopted by a un-
animous vote and the Clerk was instructed to so"advise the
County Surveyor.
The following bills having -been audited by the auditing
committeeupon motion of �rustee Gloege, seconded by Trustee
King and carried, viere allowed and the Clerk instructed to
dray warrants for the same:

_ Street Superintendent Weaver stated that Mir. Sawyer had
registered a complaint to the -effect that the- two..polez and
• 6-uy wires, property of the Pacific and Home Telephone Compan-
ies.at the intersection of Arroyo and Orange Avenues were so
located as. to be a menance.to traffic whereupon trustee
Watts moved that the Clerk be instructed to request the tel-
ephone companies to remove the ppoles;" this motion was seconded
by Trustee Gloege and unanimously carried,.;,.,
Thereupon, onmotion d"t:,ly made seconded and.carried, th
meeting adjourned to meet on.call-.at 7.olclock P.M..
