West Covina, Cal., June 17, 1925.
The Board ,of Trustees of the City of West Covina met at the
West Covina Club House on the 17th day of June, 1,92.5. Present,
Trustees Gloege, King, Maxson, Watts and. Yarnell; absent, None.
Minutes of the meeting of'May 29th read and approved.
The followin�;'bill.s, having been audited by the auditin-
committee, on motion of Trustee Watts, seconded by Trustee King
• and carried., were allowed and the Clerk instructed to draw war-
rants for the same:

A map of a subdivision, being that of Tract 8805, which lies
within three miles of the exterior boundaries of the City of
Test Covina. and prepared by the County Surveyor, came up for ex-
amination before the Board of Trustees, and upon favorable re-
port on said map by the City Engineer of the City of West Covina,
a resolution was introduced ,by Trustee JVatts, seconded by Trustee
Gloege approving map of said tract 880' and upon being put to a
vote said resolution was adopted and the Clerk was instructed.
to so advise the County Surveyor.
Trustee Gloe •e moved that the ,Chair appoint a committee of
two to interview illiams and McCandless and ascertain their
prices at which the necessary right-of-way, for the proposed
Arroyo Drive highway could be obtained; this eras duly seconded
by Trustee King and carried, whereupon the Chair appointed
Trustees Gloege and King as the committee.
Trustee Vlatts moved that the Chair appoint a committee of
three to wait upon Supervisor Cogswell to learn upon what con-
ditions the County would agree to take over the matter of se-
curing the necessary right-of-way, the condemnation proceedings
and the forming of an assessment district in connection with
the proposed Arroya Drive highway - in other words, the handling
of the matter in its entirety; this motion was dulyy seconded, and
carried., whereupon the Chair appointed Trustee IiIatts, Yarnell and
Maxson as the committee.
Thereupon, on motion duly made, seconded and carried, the
meeting adjourned to meet on,call at 7 o'clock P.M. .
The foregoing minutes of the meeting of the Board of Trustees
of the Cityo West Covina of June 17, 192.5 are duly recorded on
page 69 of the book of records of said board.
