MINUTES OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
of the
CITY OF BEST COVINA
West Covina, Cal., March 11, 1925.
The Board of Trustees of the City of West Covina met at
the West Covina Club House on the 11 day fo March, 1925.
Present: Trustees Gloege, King, Maxson, Watts and Yarnell;
absent: None.
Minutes of the meeting of March 4th read and approved.
• Messrs Maxfield Cummins, Kendall and Layco®k, representing
the City of Covina, were present in the interest of a proposed
trunk line sewer to the sea and considerable discussion follow-
ed on the advisability of nest Covina joinin Covina and the
other cities interested in the formation of proposed dis-
trict; the consensus of opinion of the Board was to the effect
that sufficient information!.,as to the cost of the project was
not yet available, nor had sufficient time been given to gget
the sentiment of our voters on the subject, with the resurt
that the re resentatives of Covina. were informed that under
these conditions, the Board would defer taking any action on
the matter at the present time.
Discussion followed on the proposed County High -way, the
route to be traversed., ri t-of-way to be secured, etc., etc.,
and it was deemed advisable to first ascertain from the County
whether or not a 60 foot road would be acceptable and the commit-
tee was instructed. to get information along this line.
Thereupon, on motion duly made, seconded and carried, the
meeting adjourned to meet on call at 7 otclock P.M.
The foregoing minutes of the meeting of the Board of Trus-
tees of the City of West Covina of Larch 11, 1925 are duly re-
corded on page 63 of the book of records of said board.
