West Covina., Calif., March 4, 1925
The Board. of Trustees of the City of West Covina met at the
West Covina. Club House on the 4th day of Uarch,1925.
Present: Trustees Gloege, King, Mtaxson, Watts and Yarnell;
absent: None.
Minutes of the meeting of February 25th read and approved.
The following bills, hb,ving been audited by the auditin.
• committee, on motion of Trustee Watts, seconded by Trustee G�oege
and carried, were alloyed and the Clerk instructed to draw war-
viants for the same:

Total, 483.25
The question of re -surfacing Arroyo from Sunset to Glendora
Avenue, was held in abeyance until. such time as the route of
the new County higYi-way was decided upon.
City Attorney Wilson was present and ex�lained that it
would. no be necessady to hold a spring elec ion inasmuch as
the Clerk and Treasurer were elected for a period of two years;
he also asvised that he would look into the question of the
taxes of the uVhiting Finance Company being paid in West Covina
instead of Los Angeles.
Trustee King, as Chairman, reported. that the committee
had gone over the route of the proposed Count high -gray in com-
pany with Mr. Jones, of the County Road Department, that the
committee was under the impression that he favored Arroyo in
preference to other routes suggested. The committee was con-
tinued and the Mayor requested Mr: C. F. Hassheider to act in
con unction with the committee in the continuance of their
wor - Mr. Hassheider agreed to do so.
Thereupon, on motion duly made, seconded and carried, the
meeting adjourned to meet on call at 7 o'clock P.M.
The foregoing minutes of the meeting of the Board of Trus-
tees of the City of West Covina of March 4, 1925 are duly re-
crrded on page 62 of the
—book of records of said board.
