MINUTES OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
of the
CITY OF WEST COVINA
West Covina, Calif., February 11, 192.5
The Board of Trustees of the City of truest Covina met at the West
Covina Club House on the 11th, day of February, 1925.
Present: Gloege, King, Maxson, Watts and Yarnell, absent; None.
Minutes of the meeting of January 22nd, were read and approved.
Ordinance No.24, entitled "An ordinance empowering and directing It
the City lUMarsha.11 to enforce the provisions of the State Housing Act
came up for its second reading and was read by the Clerk. Trustee
• Gloege moved, seconded by Trustee Yarnell, that said ordinance be
laced. on its passage, which motion carried by the following vote:
yes; Gloege, King, Maxson, Watts and -Yarnell; Noes: None.
On motion of Trustee Yarnell, seconded by Trustee Watts, said
ordinance was adopted by the following vote: Ayes; Gloege, King, Max -
son, i-atts and Yarnell; Noes: None.
The following bills, having been audited by the auditing committee,
on motion of Trustee Watts, seconded by Trustee King and carried, were
allowed and the Clerk instructed to draw warrants for the same:

Mr. Ralph Lang, representing the blest Covina School Board, was
present and requested the Board to make the necessary repairs on
Sunset Avenue between Merced. and Arroyo, and was informed that the
Board would be glad to consider his request providing sufficient
funds were available - definite action on the matter was deferred
until the next meeting.
Thereupon, on motion duly made, seconded and carried, the meet-
ing adjourned tormeet on call at 7 o'clock P.M.

Page 59 of the book of records of said board.
