MINUTES OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
of the
CI^1Y OF "VEST COVINA
West Covina, Cal., August 27, 1924.
The Board of Trustees of the City of West Covina met at the
West Covina Club House on the 27th day of August, 1924.
is Present: Trustees Gloege, King, Maxson, Watts and Yarnell;
i absent, none.
Minutes of the meeting of August loth were read and approved.
Ordinance No.22 entitled" an ordinance fixing the tax rate
for municipal purposes for the fiscal year 1924-25" came up for
its second reading and was read by the Clerk; Trustee King moved,
seconded by Trustee Yarnell, that said ordinance be placed on its
passage, which motion carried by the following vote: Ayes, Gloege,
King, M-axson, Watts and Yarnell, noes, none.
On motion of Trustee Yarnell, seconded by Trustee Watts, said
ordinance was adopted by the following vote: Ayes, Gloege, King,
�iaxson, Watts and Yarnell; noes, none.
Thereupon, on motion duly made, seconded and carried, the
Board adjourned to meet on call at 7 o'clock P. V.
The foregoing minutes of the meeting of the Board of Trustees
of the City of West Covina of August 27, 1924, are duly recorded
on page 53 of the book of records of said board.
