of the
CITY OF WEST COVINA
West Covina, Cal., August 20, 1924.
The Board of Trustees of the City of West Covina met at the
West Covina Club House on the 2oth day of August, 1924.
Present: Trustees, Gloege, King, Maxson, Watts and Yarnell.
absent, none.
Minutes of the meeting of June 25th were read and approved.
A map of a sub -division, being that of tract No. 8296 which
lies within three miles of the exterior boundaries of the City of
West Covina and prepared by the County Surveyor came up for examin-
ation before the Board of Trustees, and upon favorable report on
said map by the City Engineer of the City of West Covina, a resoluti
tion was introduced. by Trustee Watts, seconded by Trustee Yarnell,

approving of said map of said tract .82.96, and upon being put to
a vote said resolution was unanimously adopted and the Clerk was -in-
structed to so advise the County Surveyor.
Ordinance No.22 entitled if an ordinance fixing the tax rate for
municipal purposes for the fiscal year 1924-25 " came up for its
first readingand was read by the clerk.
The following bills, having been audited by the auditing com-
mittee, on motion of Trustee Yarnell, seconded by Trustee King and
unanimously carried, were allowed and the clerk instructed. to draw
warrants for the same:

Thereupon, on motion duly made seconded and carried, the meet-
ing adjourned to meet on call at 7 o,clock P. M.
