MINUTES OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES

CITY OF WEST COVINA

The.Board of Trustees of the City of West Covina met at the
tidest Covina. Club House on the 2nd day of April, 1924.
Presemlt, Trustees Gloege, King, Ylaxson and Watts; absent
Trustee Yarnell.
1.!inutes of the meeting of March 12th read and approved.
Ordinance No.21 entitled. " An ordinance to prevent the spread
Of the Foot and Mouth disease" carne up for its first reading and
was read by the Clerk. After considerable discussion the Clerk
was instructed to ascertain from the Director of the Department
of Agriculture the literal meaning of the terms "Close quarantined
Area" a.nd"Provisional Quarantined Area" as referred to in the
instructions send out by that Department.
The following bills, Navin_ been audited by the auditing com-
mittee, on motion of Trustee Watts seconded by Trustee King and
carried, were alloyed and the Clem insttructed to draw warrants
for the same:

Thereupon, on motion duly made, seconded and carried, the
meeting adjourned to -ne(3t *on call at 7 o'clock P. Jit.
