MINUTES OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
of the
CITY OF WEST COVINA
West Covina, Cal., November 21, 1923.
The Board. of Trustees of the City of West Covina met at the
Wiest Covina.. Club House on the 21 st day of November, 1923.
Present; 11��essrs . King, Maxson, Watts and Yarnell; absent;
Anderson.
Kinutos of the meeting of November. 2nd were read and approved.
A resolution entitled" A resolution of the Board of Trustees
of the City of West Covina, California, a.uthorizin and empowering
Emmet E. Wilson, City Attorney of said city, to enter into a stip-
ulation in the cause now pending before the Sup erior Court of the
State of California, in land for the Count of Los Angeles, entitled:
County of Los Angeles, Plaintiff, versus �Y.le cities of Alhambra,
Arcadia, et al, defendents, No.12852911 was introduced and read by
the Clerk, and on motion of Trustee Watts seconded by Trustee Yar-
nell, the said resolution was adopted by the following vote: ayes
King, Kaxson, Watts and Yarnell, noes; none.
A communication from Mr. Frank Kitchell dated Covina, October
29th, asking permission to remove thfee gum trees from the County
Parking at his place on Azusa Avenue was read and on motion of
Trustee Watts seconded by Trustee Yarnell, which wqs carried, the
Permission asked eras granted and the Clerk instructed to so inform
r. Kitchell.
The followin• bills having been audited by the auditing committee,
on motion of TruNee Watts, seconded. by Trustee Yarnell and carried,
they were alloyed and. the Clerk instructed. to draw warrants for the
sair,.e :

Thereupon, on motion duly made, seconded and carried, the meeting
adjourned to meet on call at l o'clock P. 11.
