MINUTES OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
of the
CITY OF WEST COVINA
Mast Covina, Cal., July 25, 1923.
The -Board of Trustees of the City of West Covina met at the
West Covina. Club House on the 25th day of July, 1923.
Present, Messrs. King, blaxson, Watts and Yarnell.
Absent, Anderson.
Minutes of the meeting of July 18th were read and approved.

On motion of Trustee Yarnell seconded ,
carried, the Street Supperintendent was authorized and instructed
to make the necessarytemporary improvements, insofar as our
- facilities would permit, on Sunset between Merced and Arroyo.
On motion of Trustee V`oatts, seconded by Yarnell, which was
carried, the President of the Board of Trustees and the City
Clerk were authorized and instructed as a committee of two, to
arrange .for the bonding of city employes as provided by ordinance.
On motion of Trustee Watts, seconded by King, which was
carried the President of the Board of Trustees and the City Clerk
were authorized and instructed to arrange with the State Compen-
sation Insurance Fund for a policy in favor of the City of Nest
Covina to cover employes in street maintenance work, etc.
Thereupon, on motion duly made seconded and carried, the
meeting adjourned to meet on call at 7 o'clock P.M.
The foregoing monutes of the meeting of the Board of Trustees
of the City of West Covina of July 25, 1923, are recorded on page
25 of the book of records of said board.
