MINUTES OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
of the
CITY OF WEST COVINA
Wiest Covina, April 25, ' 1923.
The Board of Trustees of the City of West Covina met at the
West Covina Club House on the 25th day of April, 1923.
Present, Messrs. Anderson, Kin , Maxson, Watts and Yarnell.
Minutes of the meeting of April 11th were read and approved.
A map of a subdivision, bein that of tract No.6028 which
lies within three miles of the exterior boundaries of the Cityy of
West Covina, was received.from the County Surveyor, and upon iavor-
able report on said map by the City Engineer of the City of West
Covina, a motion was made by Mr. la.tts, seconded by Mr. Anderson
that a resolution be adopted a pprov.i the map of said tract No.
6028, and that this action on �he parl of the board be communicated
to the County; Surveyor; motion -carried.
A communication from Tyr. Cogswell, Supervisor First District,
dated April. 18th, stating that the County would endeavor to assist
the City of West Covina in patching up Glendora Avenue and possibly
to a small extent'on Irwindale Avenue, was read and. ordered filed.
A communication from the Southern California Edison Comppany,
listing their mileage of operating lines within the City of Wes
Covina and requesting a supply of'assessment blanks, was read and
the Clerk was instructed to have the said mileage checked and the
assessment blanks sent them as soon as the latter are available.
Ordinance No. 12 entitled "an ordinance authorizing the City
Clerk to obtain from the County Assessor a certified copy of the
assessment book" was introduced and read.
Ordinance N0.13, entitled " an;: ordinance regulating certain
places of amusement" was introduced and read.
Ordinance No.14.. entitled "an( -ordinance regulating the use 6f
certain highways" was introduced and read.
Thereupon, on motion duly made, seconded and carried, the
board adjourned to meet May 2, 1923, at 7 otclock P.M.

1`i of the book of records of the said board.
