MINUTES OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
of the
CITY OF WEST COVINA
West Covina, Cal, April 11, 1923.
The Board of Trustees of the Cityy of West Covina met at
the Nest Covina Club house on the lith. day of April, 1923 •
Present, Messrs. Anderson, King, Maxson, Watts and Yarnell.
Minutes of the meeting of March 28th were read and approved.
Ordinance No.11, entitled "an ordinance relating to and pro-
vidin for the assessment and collection of City taxes" came up
for i s second reading and was read by the Clerk. Mr. Anderson
moved, seconded by Mr. Matta, that the said ordinance be placed
on its passage, which motion was adopted by the followin vote:
Ayes: Anderson, King, Maxson, Watts and Yarnell. Noes: Done.
On motion.of Mr. Anderson, seconded by Mr. King, the said
ordinance was adopted by the following vote: Ayes: Anderson,
King, Maxson, Viatts and Yarnell. Noes: None
Thereupon, on motion duly made, seconded and carried. the
board adjourned to meet April 18, 1923, at 7 o'clock P.M.

page No.16 of the book of records of the said board.
