BACKGROUND: The attached meeting minutes are for the regular Community and Senior Services Commission meeting held on March 8, 2022 and the Special Meeting held on May 10, 2022. Vice Chair Mullner: Attended Pony Little League opening day at Walmerado park. Mentioned that she attended the Historical Societies monthly meeting and met the WCUSD Superintendent at that meeting (reported last meeting as well). Commissioner Fischer: Attended Pony Little League opening day at Walmerado park. Mentioned that she attended the Historical Societies monthly meeting and met the WCUSD Superintendent at that meeting (reported last meeting as well). Commissioner Munoz: Attended Pony Little League opening day at Walmerado park. Participated in the homeless count. Attended the Friendship park playground groundbreaking ceremony. ITEMS TO BE AGENDIZED Chair Torres: 1. Update on Dog Park project. 2. Update on tennis courts for tennis and pickleball. 3. Report on Measure W. 4. Discussion about Commission having input on Cities website for the Community Services pages. Vice Chair Mullner: 1. Update on any improvements to Gingrich park in the future. Commissioner Diaz: 1. Update on Barbeques at the parks and if they will be updated, removed, or replaced.
