RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the City Council approve the February 1, 2022, Closed Session Meeting Minutes
and the February 1, 2022 Regular Session Meeting Minutes.

the West Covina MunicipalCode, which states that bidding may be dispensed with
when the commodity can be obtained from only one (1) vendor; and
2. Authorize the City Manager to negotiate and execute a purchase order with
ZOLL Medical Corporation for five (5) X-Series Advanced Manual
Monitor/Defibrillators and related equipmentand maintenance plan, in an amount
not to exceed $265,000.

6) CONSIDERATION OF 2021 BUREAU OF JUSTICE ASSISTANCE (BJA)

and in such final form as approved by theCity Attorney;
3.Authorize 15% of the awarded contract amount as contingency allowance to be
used, if necessary,with the City Manager's approval, for unforeseen conditions;

agreement; and

Sidewalks Incorporated dba Precision Concrete Cutting for $240,000 annually, for
a three-year term, with theoption to extend for two (2) additional one-year period,

City Attorney;
2. Authorize the City Manager to negotiate and execute any amendments to the
agreement.

ADJOURNMENT
The meeting was adjourned in honor of Bill Cagle, longtime Police volunteer, and Congressman
Esteban Torres from California's 34th congressional district. Our deep condolences to their families.
A motion to adjourn the Regular Meeting was made by Mayor Castellanos, and the meeting was
adjourned at 8:58 p.m. The next regularly scheduled Regular City Council Meeting will be held on
